From June 30 to July 6, the first GWA Youth Wingfoil World Championships took place in San Pere Pescador (Costa Brava, Spain). More than 90 young talents from ten countries came together on the breathtaking bay in front of the Club de Vela La Ballena Alegre to compete in the surf freestyle and free-fly slalom disciplines in the U14, U16 and U19 age groups.
The event was accompanied by a clear commitment to sustainability: the event was part of the Clean Regattas program, supported by Sailors for the Sea, and set high standards for environmentally friendly competition.

Winners and discipline highlights
Surf freestyle
- Girls U19: Gold to Marie Schlittenbauer (GER), ahead of Eulalie Thebault and Manon Dupé .
- Boys U19: Title for Aleks Acherer (AUT), followed by Axel Gerard (FRA) and Nathan Tarifa ().
- U16/title: Ezio Bastia (ITA) and Enoha Laurent (FRA) among others with strong performances.
- U14 triumphed Sam Trck (Boys) and Sofia Ginzinger (Girls) .
FreeFly Slalom
- Girls U19: Title to Viola Lippitsch (AUT), followed by Enoha Laurent and Helen Simonnet .
- Boys U19: Sebastiano Zorzi wins ahead of Arthur Thebault and Mini Bab83 ().
- U16 Leon Rockz is the front runner, followed by Sacha Waterpower .
- U14 winners: Anna Helies and Carl Glt ().
