Basic maneuvers for wingfoiling

You’ve taken your first steps and you can ride the SUP reasonably safely or take off and land safely with the wing foil board? Then it’s time to practice the first basic maneuvers for wingfoiling (= maneuvers to change direction).

The two basic maneuvers in wing foiling are – as in other water sports – the jibe and the tack. They are called basic maneuvers because they include the two basic ways you can turn through the wind. A number of other maneuvers are also based on them.

There are different techniques for the respective design. We will gradually introduce those who have made the most progress in this still young sport.
