Our sport gives us the feeling of freedom that we all love. But not everyone has this freedom – boys who suffer from Duchenne muscular dystrophy fight every day against an incurable disease that weakens their muscles and deprives them of the opportunity to live independently and move freely.
Now we all have the chance to give something back. From September 4 to 8, 2024 , Doré De Morsier and Yo Wiebel will attempt to cross the English Channel – one of the most challenging waterways in the world – with their Wingfoils as part of the “Foil 4 Duchenne Boys“campaign.
Whether they will succeed in this endeavor depends on many factors: Wind, weather, tides and, last but not least, their stamina. But Doré and Yo assure us of one thing: “We will do everything we can to achieve this goal – for the Duchenne Boys!”
The two will undertake this courageous adventure to raise awareness and raise funds for the Duchenne Switzerland which supports the boys affected. ENSIS is supporting them with high-quality and reliable equipment.
